1. The short version
ManyCharts is built to work without knowing who you are. There's no sign-up wall: the app runs on an anonymous device identifier, and you can use everything — including a paid subscription — without ever telling us who you are.
If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google so your watchlist follows you across devices, we receive an account identifier and an email address, and nothing more. With Sign in with Apple you can hide even that behind a private relay address.
We don't sell data, we don't run ad networks, and we don't build advertising profiles.
2. Who is responsible for your data
Arctics Group is the data controller for personal data processed through ManyCharts. We comply with the GDPR and applicable French data-protection law.

3. What we collect
An anonymous device identifier. When you first launch ManyCharts, Firebase Authentication issues an anonymous ID. It contains no personal information and is not linked to your Apple ID, Google account, email, or phone number. It exists so your watchlist persists and so we can apply fair-use limits. If you delete and reinstall the app without signing in, you get a new one and the old data becomes unreachable.
Account data — only if you choose to sign in. Signing in is entirely optional. If you use it:
Sign in with Apple gives us a stable Apple user identifier and an email address. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple gives us a private relay address (@privaterelay.appleid.com) instead of your real one, and we never see your actual address. If you choose to share your name, we receive it; if not, we don't.
Sign in with Google gives us your Google account identifier, the email address on that account, and basic profile information (your name and profile image) as Google provides it.
We do not receive your password, and we never see your Apple or Google credentials — authentication happens entirely with Apple or Google. When you sign in, the anonymous data already on your device is linked to your account so your watchlist carries over.
Your watchlist. The markets you save, stored against your anonymous ID or, once you sign in, your account.
Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics). Which screens you open, which markets you open and from where, timeframe changes, chart interactions, whether an analysis succeeded or failed, and subscription-flow events. Two deliberate limits are enforced in our code: we never send the text you type into search — only how many characters it was, and we never send the specific prices you looked at.
Your onboarding answers. Your self-declared experience level, the markets you follow, your stated challenge and goal. These are fixed multiple-choice values, never free text. They are stored on your device only and sent to analytics in aggregate to help us understand who the app serves.
Device and technical data. Platform, OS version, app version, device model, language and region, plus diagnostic and crash information. Firebase App Check also performs a device-integrity check using Apple's App Attest or Google's Play Integrity, to stop automated abuse of our servers.
Subscription status (RevenueCat). Whether you have an active subscription, which plan, and its renewal state. RevenueCat assigns its own anonymous ID. We never see your card details — Apple and Google handle payment and never pass us your payment information.
Notification preferences. If you allow notifications, that permission state is stored on your device and delivery is handled by Apple (APNs) or Google (FCM).
Data stored only on your device. Cached market data, your timeframe and chart layout preferences, and your onboarding answers live in local storage on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.
4. What we don't collect
To be explicit, we do not collect: your password or any credential, your phone number, postal address, date of birth, payment card details, contacts, photos, precise location, health data, biometric data, or advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
If you don't sign in, we have no email address and no name for you at all.
5. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

You can withdraw consent for analytics and notifications at any time in the app's settings, and for notifications also in your device settings. Withdrawal doesn't affect processing that already happened. You can stop all account-data processing by deleting your account.
6. Who we share it with
We share data only with providers who process it on our instructions, under written data-processing terms:
Google (Firebase) — authentication, database, cloud functions, analytics, and app attestation.
RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription status management.
Apple and Google — as identity providers when you choose to sign in, and as payment processors for subscriptions. In both roles they act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. Signing in tells them you use ManyCharts.
What we send to OpenAI. ManyCharts uses an OpenAI model to write the analysis narrative. What we send it is public market data and computed statistics — prices, consensus figures, volatility measures, and public news headlines. We do not send your identifier, your email, your watchlist, your search terms, your onboarding answers, or anything else about you. The model receives no information from which you could be identified.
Where our data comes from. We read public data from prediction-market venues and public data providers, including Polymarket, Kalshi, Metaculus, Manifold, Deribit, FRED, GDELT, SEC EDGAR and public news and polling sources. This is a one-way, read-only flow: we fetch from them, and no information about you is ever sent to them.
We may also disclose data if legally required to, or to protect our rights, safety, or infrastructure. If our business is ever sold or restructured, data may transfer as part of it — we'd tell you first.
7. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V — principally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, alongside our providers' own certification and supplementary measures. You can ask us for details.
8. How long we keep it
Account data — until you delete your account. Deletion is immediate in the app and completed across our systems within 30 days.
Watchlist and preferences — until you delete them or your account, or until an anonymous ID has been inactive for 24 months.
Analytics events — retained by Firebase Analytics for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
Diagnostics and crash data — up to 90 days.
Cached data on your device — cleared automatically after 24 hours, and entirely when you delete the app.
Subscription records — for as long as the subscription is active, plus the period French law requires us to keep commercial and accounting records (up to 10 years for accounting purposes).
9. How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest through Google's infrastructure. Our database follows a deny-by-default rule set: every path a device can read is listed explicitly, and analyses, configuration, rate limits and logs are entirely server-side and unreachable from any app. Every server request requires both an authenticated caller and a valid device-attestation token. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to operate ManyCharts.
We never handle your password, because authentication is delegated entirely to Apple and Google.
10. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to processing, port it to another service, and withdraw consent at any time.
If you are signed in, email us at contact@arcticsgroup.com from the address on your ManyCharts account and we'll respond within one month. You can also delete everything yourself, immediately, using Settings → Delete my account in the app.
If you are not signed in, use Settings → Delete my data in the app. This is the only route that reliably works, and here's the honest reason why: because we deliberately don't know who anonymous users are, an email request gives us no way to find or verify your data — we have no name, address, or email to match you against. The in-app control acts directly on your device's own identifier, so it works where an email cannot.
Deletion removes your account, watchlist and server-side records, and clears local data on your device. It cannot cancel your subscription — do that in the App Store or Google Play — and it cannot erase records we must legally retain, such as accounting records for purchases.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In France that is the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
11. Age
ManyCharts is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, email us and we'll delete any associated data.
Because the app is not directed to children and requires users to be 18 or older, it does not fall within COPPA's scope for child-directed services.
12. Cookies and tracking
The ManyCharts app does not use cookies and does not use advertising or cross-app tracking identifiers. It does not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does no tracking that would require one. Analytics is first-party and can be turned off in settings. Any website we operate may use strictly necessary and basic analytics cookies, which you can manage in your browser.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ManyCharts develops. For material changes we'll tell you in the app before they take effect, and we'll ask for your consent where the law requires it.
