Elates, developed by Arctics Group, is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

2. Data We Collect

Data you provide: email address, username, encrypted password, profile information (such as fitness level, goals, or preferences you choose to share), and workout-related inputs (e.g. session feedback, favorites).

Data collected automatically: usage data (classes viewed, sessions completed, features used, session duration, interactions), workout progress and history, technical data (device type, OS, app version, anonymized identifiers), and diagnostic logs to improve service stability.

Health and fitness data: Elates may store data related to your workout activity within the app (such as completed sessions, duration, and progress). Elates does not access data from Apple Health, Google Fit, or any other health platform unless you explicitly grant permission.

Payment data: processed exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Elates does not collect or store your payment information.

3. How We Use Your Data We use your data to: provide and personalize the service (including class recommendations and progress tracking); improve the app and develop new features; ensure security and prevent abuse; comply with legal obligations; and send you important service communications (marketing only with your consent).

4. Data Sharing We never sell your personal data. We may share it with: technical service providers (such as Google Firebase, analytics, and AI providers) strictly for service delivery; and competent authorities where required by law. All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations compliant with applicable data protection law.

5. International Data Transfers Some providers (including Google) may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

6. Data Retention Account data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Workout history and progress data: 12 months after last activity. Diagnostic data: 6 months maximum.

7. Your Rights Under the GDPR and applicable law, you have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise your rights, contact us at contact@arcticsgroup.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).

8. Security We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies Elates may use anonymized technical identifiers for analytics and service improvement purposes. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

10. Minors Elates is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country), you must obtain parental consent before using the app.

11. Changes to this Policy We may update this policy at any time. Significant changes will be notified within the app.
