Welcome to Krito. By accessing or using our app, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms By downloading, accessing, or using Krito, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.
2. The Krito Service Krito is an AI-powered application that analyzes links to online posts to assess their credibility. The service provides: an assessment of the likelihood that content constitutes misinformation (fake news), detection of content generated or manipulated by AI, a community feed where users can share and browse analyses, and automated summaries and insights on submitted content.
Analyses are generated by AI systems (including Google's Gemini API) and are provided for informational purposes only. They may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation.
3. User Responsibility You are solely responsible for the links and content you submit to Krito. You confirm that you have the legal right to submit such content for analysis. Krito does not provide legal, medical, psychological, or financial advice. Do not rely on Krito's results as professional advice.
4. User Accounts You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Premium Subscriptions & Billing Premium features are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payments, cancellations, and refunds are managed exclusively by those platforms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing or features with advance notice.
6. Acceptable Use You agree not to: use the app for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose; submit content that violates the rights of others; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the AI systems or infrastructure; automate access to the service without prior written authorization; spread misleading information about the results provided by the app.
7. Community Feed By posting content in the community feed, you confirm it complies with applicable laws and third-party rights. You grant Krito a non-exclusive license to display your content within the app. Krito may moderate or remove any content deemed inappropriate without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property All software, branding, logos, designs, and AI systems within Krito are the exclusive property of Arctics Group or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of the content you submit, subject to the rights necessary for us to operate and improve the service.
9. Limitation of Liability Krito is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arctics Group shall not be liable for: decisions made based on AI-generated analyses; any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the app; loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm; errors or misinterpretations in analysis results. You are responsible for verifying important information before relying on it.
10. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to Krito if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
11. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Arctics Group is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of Krito after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
