HORDE FRONT - PRIVACY POLICY
Publisher: ARCTICS GROUP
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Effective date: 1 September 2026
1. WHO WE ARE
Horde Front (the "Game") is published by ARCTICS GROUP, a societe a
responsabilite limitee registered in France under SIREN 930 474 473
("ARCTICS GROUP", "we", "us", "our").
ARCTICS GROUP is the data controller for the personal data described in this
policy, within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the French
Data Protection Act (loi n. 78-17 du 6 janvier 1978, "Loi Informatique et
Libertes").
All privacy questions and requests: contact@arcticsgroup.com
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Every request reaches us at
the address above and we answer it ourselves.
This policy covers the Horde Front mobile application only. It does not cover
Apple's App Store, or any other website or service operated by a third party.
2. THE SHORT VERSION
- The Game collects nothing about you. There is no account, no login, no
server of ours, and no analytics.
- Your progress never leaves your device. Your save file - levels cleared,
squad, gold, base upgrades - is stored locally on your phone. We do not host
it and we cannot read it.
- We never ask for your name, address, phone number, email, or payment details
in order to play.
- There are no purchases. In-game gold is earned by playing. It cannot be
bought.
- The only time we hold anything about you is if you write to us, and then it
is only what you chose to send.
3. DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY
The Game writes the following to your device's local application storage. It is
not transmitted to us or to anyone else:
- Campaign progress: levels completed, current level, difficulty state
- Your squad and roster: units unlocked, specialists, their upgrade levels
- Base and building upgrade levels
- Gold and other in-game counters
- Settings: audio volumes and language
This data never leaves your phone. Deleting the Game from your device deletes
all of it. There is no backup and no way for us to restore it.
4. PERSONAL DATA WE ACTUALLY PROCESS
There is one category, and only one:
Support correspondence - your email address and whatever you write to us.
When: only if you contact us.
Why: to answer you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to your request
(GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Kept for: 3 years after our last exchange.
That is the whole list.
We do not collect: your name, postal address, phone number, advertising
identifier, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, health
data, or any special-category data under GDPR Article 9. We do not track you
across apps or websites. We do not profile you. We take no automated decisions
about you. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone.
5. WHAT APPLE SEES
You obtained the Game from the App Store, and Apple processes data about that
download and about your use of the App Store as an independent data controller
under its own privacy policy. Apple also gives us aggregated, anonymous
statistics - download counts, crash counts, device and country breakdowns -
which cannot identify you and which we cannot link back to any individual.
That processing is Apple's, not ours: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
6. CHILDREN
The Game is rated 12+ and is not directed at children. Because the Game
collects no personal data through gameplay, no profile of any player - child
or adult - is created.
For reference: in France, the age at which a person can validly consent to the
processing of their data in relation to information society services is 15
(Article 45 of the Loi Informatique et Libertes). Below that age, consent must
be given jointly by the child and the holder of parental authority. As things
stand, the Game asks no player for consent to anything, because it processes
nothing.
If you are a parent with a question, write to contact@arcticsgroup.com.
7. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Union. Our support
mailbox is operated within the EU. Should that ever change, this policy will be
updated first.
8. SECURITY
The Game holds no player data on any server of ours, because we operate none -
there is no central database of players to breach. Email you send us is
protected in transit by the standard encryption of the mail providers involved.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not promise that one is.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the GDPR and the Loi Informatique et Libertes you have the right to:
- access the personal data concerning you;
- obtain its rectification or erasure;
- obtain restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- define directives on the fate of your data after your death (Article 85 of
the Loi Informatique et Libertes);
- lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority -
How to exercise them
Write to contact@arcticsgroup.com.
In practice, the only personal data we can hold is an email exchange with you,
so a request will normally concern that correspondence. Anything stored inside
the Game is on your own device and under your sole control: deleting the Game
erases it completely, and neither we nor anyone else can recover it.
We answer within one month of receiving a request, extendable by two months for
complex requests, in which case we tell you why.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will update this policy if the Game changes - for example if a future
version introduces advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or any online
feature. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current
version.
If a future version introduces any processing of your data, we will tell you
inside the Game and ask for your consent before it starts. We will not begin
collecting data under a silently amended policy.
11. CONTACT
Any question, any request, any complaint: contact@arcticsgroup.com
French and English versions of this policy are published together. In the event
of a discrepancy, the French version prevails for users resident in France.
